The challengeA deep house met its garden through a small, dark kitchen with no natural place to eat or gather.
Our responseThe extension keeps the old brick legible, adds a timber-framed threshold to the garden and brings light through a sculptural roof opening.
The resultThe rear of the home is now one connected living, cooking and dining space that changes beautifully with the garden through the year.
